My Bengal doesn't do this but I had a non-Bengal many years ago that did it quite often.

I'm jealous My bengals have never done that. Not even Serafina, my crazy dare-devil cat, who seems to perpetually live at altitudes of 6' or above. I'm going to have to work on that with her. Maybe I can use clicker training to get her up there

My bengal has never done this but I had a oriental type cross tabby queen who used to stand on the door and sharpen her claws on the door trim. Our door trims were absolutely shredded!

Mine hasn't done that yet but he's still only little although he keep staring up at my ceiling light fitting obviously trying to figure out how to get up and hang off it now doubt!

He does love heights though and we have quite a tall cat tree. He sleeps on the very top perch now all the time :)

Raiden has not discovered the tops of the doors yet. Most are closed or opened completely, so he can't really get to them. His cat tree is high enough for him. And, to tell you the truth, he's not very agile. He'll fall off the vanity trying to walk across it. Scares me sometimes.

Zoomba just likes to hang out in the kitchen cabinets. Yes, he did get the cabinet door opened by himself. He actually uses the handle and opens it with his paw.
And of course there's the occasional box.

Love the door pictures! I'm afraid my monster would break my doors if he tried that.

Yes mine do that - all very well when there is a door wedge being used to stop the door swinging shut but Hendrix jumped on the top of the bathroom door once and his weight swung it back to the door stop against the wall and bounced back lol Luckily I caught the door before it could slam shut and he hasn't tried that door since.

They did also jump on the living room shutters that go across the patio doors - fortunately when they were still young and relatively light as I think they would break them now!
