A man absolutely hated his wife's cat and decided to get rid of him one day by driving him 20 blocks from his home and leaving him at the park. As he was getting home, the cat was walking up the driveway.

The next day he decided to drive the cat 40 blocks away. He put the beast out and headed home. Driving back up his driveway, there was the cat!

He kept taking the cat further and further and the cat would always beat him home. At last he decided to drive a few miles away, turn right, then left, past the bridge, then right again and another right until he reached what he thought was a safe distance from his home and left the cat there.

Hours later the man calls home to his wife: 'Jen, is the cat there?'

'Yes,' the wife answers, 'why do you ask?'

Frustrated, the man answered, 'Put him on the phone, I'm lost! and need directions!'

A cat died and went to Heaven. God met her at the gates and said, 'You have been a good cat all these years. Anything you want is yours for the asking.'

The cat thought for a minute and then said, 'All my life I lived on a farm and slept on hard wooden floors. I would like a real fluffy pillow to sleep on.'

God said, 'Say no more.' Instantly the cat had a huge fluffy pillow.

A few days later, six mice were killed in an accident and they all went to Heaven together. God met the mice at the gates with the sam e offer that He made to the cat.

The mice said, 'Well, we have had to run all of our lives: from cats, dogs, and even people with brooms! If we could just have some little roller skates, we would not have to run again.'

God answered, 'It is done.' All the mice had beautiful little roller skates.

About a week later, God decided to check on the cat. He found her sound asleep on her fluffy pillow. God gently awakened the cat and asked, 'Is everything okay? How have you been doing? Are you happy?'

The cat replied, 'Oh, it is WONDERFUL. I have never been so happy in my life. The pillow is so fluffy, and those little Meals on Wheels you have been sending over are delicious!'

Today is Tuffy's first birthday The girls at the UPS store weighted him yesterday and he is a lean 11lbs 2oz long and 'lanky' boy!
Wow, hard to believe its a year already. He's still the playful kitten to
me.

I look at his pic in the 'sig avatar' below and still can't believe he was ever so little....

...here's a pic I took this morning just before I woke him up to say 'Happy Birthday!"...

Wow 1-year-old already!!

Happy Birthday Tuffy!!

Tuffy the Gardner! I decided I would try to grow some catnip I bought
in a little cup at the petstore....little MiracleGro, little water and ~Viola'~
Lots of CATNIP! stuff grows like a weed, it likes water, and is easy to
grow.

Now Stretch Cat and Tuffy enjoy fresh catnip. Tuffy has decide to take
up gardening by tending to 'his' catnip garden(plant). Below you can see
him pruning, weeding and generally taken good care of his little garden.
He does share with Stretch Cat and after munching on some fresh leaves
they go about having a fine time by tearing thru the house and being lil'
devils just 'cause they can!


They ladies at the UPS store weighed him yesterday, he's up to 12 lbs. even, he is solid. Tuffy still looks like he needs to
grow into his paws, so I reckon his going to be a lot bigger still.
