A couple of months ago we decided we wanted to purchase two kittens, after looking around for a while, we fell in love with the bengal cat breed. We put a deposit down on these two beauties, they are only 5 weeks old at the moment and we are counting the days till we get them. It was our fascination with this breed, that gave us the idea to create this site. We thought it would be a great idea for bengal lovers alike to share their tips, stories and experience. Here are the first couple of pictures of our bengals :-

Hi!
The cat in this picture is my new show queen that just arrived from Gogees. She's a total sweetie and much more brightly colored than you can see in the pictures. I'm calling her "Etheria"
The kitten in my signature is from Bailiwick Bengals, and her name is "Fascination"
I have three other cats right now, an altered bengal queen, a kitten I'm raising for another breeder, and a rescue moggy alter boy who's the goofball of the house.

Hiya Athena

What beautiful Bengals. You could of helped with names for our Bengals, yours are definately original. We have decided on Zeus and Nero for our two boys, which we are waiting to join our home in June.

Thanks! :D

I just name them what seems to fit them. I used to show an Arabian mare named Etheria, and the judges loved her, so I'm hoping it's the name ;)

Here's a picture of a little guy I just dropped off at his new home last night. His people love him, but I sure do miss him!

He's the sweetest cat I've ever met.

He is definately a stunner. I don't know if I could ever be a breeder. I would want to keep them all.

It was really hard to let him go. But his new people were so happy that it just made me feel good. He has the sweetest, most people-loving personality ever, and they adore him! Before he went home, they had a huge cat tree for him, about 20 different toys, and were asking me tons of questions on the best food to feed him, etc. They said I can come over any time and see him, and they're sending me pictures! They were truly wonderful people, and I know he's got the best home ever.
It's hard to let the kittens go, but when you're careful about placement, and only send them to the best home possible, it felt great to drop him off, and see him crawl right into her lap and fall asleep (after playing with some of his toys) He never got nervous at all, never tried to hide, just walked right out of the carrier after a two hour car ride like "hey, someplace new. WOW!! Toys!!!"

Athena,

He definately sounds like he got a home he deserves, it must be so much easier letting them go, when you know they are going to someone like that.

I too have already bought loads of toys, treats etc, for when our kittens arrive, which is not till end of June and I am already planning building a cat tree for them. I reckon they are going to be spoilt.

Don't you? :P

Spoilt is good! Nothing better than a bengals that knows what it wants. My oldest has a certain meow for "hey, you, put ice cubes in my water bowl...NOW!!!"
Your kitties sound like they're going to be so happy. They're very cute in the pictures, BTW.

That's a snow? She looks like a beautiful BST as a kitten. My boys' sire is a snow and it shows up more in Koby who has lighter fur even though he is a BST. Kaly is a darker brown than Koby and has light ruffousing. Both boys have black spots --some that almost rosetted.
