Hello All,

I am the proud owner of 13 weeks old Midas, a spotted/rosetted brown bengal. I picked him up yesterday and he is settling in (though introductions to our 8yo moogie have not so far been great - much hissing from the little one!).

I look forward to reading more of your stories and advice on this forum!

Hi and welcome to the forum to you and Midas - he looks lovely, nice coat.

Take things gently with the introductions - sometimes they work out immediately but it's more usual for it to take a little while for things to settle down.

He is gorgeous :) .

My two moggies (4 & 4.5 yrs old) still hiss at Zazou - we've had her 6 weeks now. She wants to be friends but they don't! They will tolerate her now, as long as she doesn't get too close.

You'll just have to get another kitten to keep Midas company and stop him annoying your older cat (well that's the solution we've come up with anyway!). :wink:
