Our new Bengal

Please meet Mabel, our beautiful Bengal kitten who came home to us yesterday.

We also have 2 dogs, collies, and she is holding her own with them even though one of the dogs is totally obsessed with watching her every move. :shock:

We've already discovered she is likely to be a water lover as she is obsessed with the kitchen sink! She's also going to be very vocal, as when she isn't growling at the dogs, she's calling out for attention from us. :roll:

She's settling in very well despite only having been here for less than 24 hours. I think she'll fit right in!

There is some great advice on this forum, well done!

She is such a cutie pie. I do miss this stage sometimes. When you have two strapping bengal boys both vying for some knee space.
She will do fine with the other pets, she'll have them wrapped round her little paw in no time :wink:

We've had cats before, but Mabes is our first Bengal. We did some research before selecting a Bengal cat, but now we have the reality of owning one and we can understand what people were saying about them!

We can't believe how confident and brave she is, never mind her obvious intellegence! She is amazing us constantly. :lol:

She's far to busy exploring the house and playing with the children, to waste precious time on eating. She ate very well last night, but has turned her nose up at anything offered to her today. We'll just have to monitor it for a while...

Again, thanks for the comments so far, and feel free to point us in the right direction if we are making any glaring mistakes...

These two are what she is up against, a male Bearded Collie (Texas) and a female Bearded/Collie mix (Lucy-Belle).
