Just got our 1st BC

Been lurking reading over some posts and decided to introduce ourselves.

We've just picked up our 1st Bengal. Her name is Piper.

She doesn't have papers, the dad was Bengal but the mom is Bengal/Manx mix.

She is 11 weeks old.

Just wondering what should we expect for the next few months. Most of the posts I've read are kittens over 6 months old.

I really don't want to be rude but in order to call a cat a Bengal, it must be a pedigree, purebred Bengal (i.e. mother and father pure bengal with registration papers and a family tree of bengals and asian leopard cats). Otherwise it's just a moggie! Your little kitty is very cute, but unfortunately not a Bengal. Also I believe the Manx cat carries a tailless gene, so I would imagine the breeders were not being very honest with you. I hope they weren't dishonest with you about how much you paid for her. She's a beautiful girl, but just a moggie! Enjoy your new kitten and hope you can enjoy learning about Bengals here on the forum.

Didn't pay much as it was from a rescue.

Its okay if she is a mudblood. She is still 3/4s Bengal and I assume will act the same so the forum will still be a great source of information for activities and traits.

It wasn't a rescue in the sense of a business. Just a lady that saves cats from people who have to give them up. She said she saw the parents.

Are you sure it was a Manx & not a Maine Coon? I am aware of one person who has a Maine Coon crossed with a Bengal & then mates her back to a Bengal to get the "3/4 Bengal 1/4 Maine Coon", but still technically a crossbreed.
Just asking as the coat length & the little tufts on her ears would be more typical of that particular cross breed.
