right...sorry if this seems utterly daft...
but i've finally worked out my kitten's psychology...now, whereas she can jump perfectly easily onto the couch or the bed, she prefers to half jump, hook in her claws and then haul herself up... When dismounting from the bed she will also lie on the edge, hook in her claws and then commando roll sideways, before letting go once her feet have hit the floor...
she also chews wires...
here's my conclusion...
Eithne is a spy, sent to disable the computer systems of The Evil Empire (me)...at their two main bases (The Bed, the Sofa In The Sitting Room)...she is operating alone, a rogue agent perhaps...in high octane action sequences probably directed by the guy who did the Bourne movies...hence random leaping up walls and freerunning from the chest of draws to the bed to the wall and back again...
However, there is a traitor (her own tail) which she must frequently interrogate (pounce on and claw for moving behind her back)...and she knows she's being watched, so every time she realises she has been caught on surveilance she returns to her persona of Sweet Innocent Dapsy Kitten, purring to lull The Evil Empire into a sense of security...
When chewing frantically at the wire of the Computer System doesn't work, she resorts to attempting to disable it from the core controls...so when the system is left unwatched, the word document or skype window left open carries cryptic codes like: [[[[[[[[[[[[[[/////////////////?;;;;;;;;;;;7
Clearly that is her communicating with...someone...
Will she disable the computers in time? Will she be rendered unconscious by bouncing into a wall at high speed? Is her tail feeding information to the enemy? WHO KNOWS!
