I have posted a few times over the past couple of weeks and have realised I have been quite rude by not introducing myself.
my name is clare, however I have logged in under "pippin" my cat's name.
I'm new to the "bengal life" and have found the forum extreemly useful. I knew fine well before getting "pip" that she would be demanding but this is a whole new world of cat owning!! Don't get me wrong, I love pippin to bits but its safe to say I am learning that having a bengal is so different. My Siamese "Dandy" who I had from 8 weeks old until he was 21 years was a cheeky character who demanded attention at all times but pippin takes the word "attention" to another level!! haha.

I will try to post a pic of her up at some point, whe she stays still long enough to get her picture taken. She is 2 years old and I got her from the cat rescue centre about 6 weeks ago . I know that she has had 2 previous litters. She had her 2nd litter just a few days after being handed into the rescue centre, when two of her kittens died during labour and she had emergency c section to have the other two kittens, which survived. So "pip" has been through quite alot before she came here to stay.

I better stop now as "pip" has got herself up onto the top shelfs in the kitchen, obvously a signal that I should be speaking to her!!

Hi Clare & Pippin!
Lovely to *meet* you both! I'm also fairly new to the forum - we picked up our first Bengal (a 13 week old kitten) about a week ago.
Pippin is so lucky to have found a home with you - I gather from your other posts that you 've got loads of experience with animals. It's sounds as if she's had a pretty traumatic time, poor girl...
I realise that Pippin has been behind the TV today  There are some really good threads on the forum on inappropriate soiling if you fancy checking previous threads. However I'm sure people will soon be chipping in to this new thread with some good suggestions....
Hang in there....
Sarah

Hi and welcome to you both. Pippin is quite the spunky one it sounds. My guess is she is going to bring you a lot of joy!
