 Post subject: bit of a late hello

hi ive just found here i joined a few days ago and posted some pics of my new babies , i will intoduce myself properly , my name is gill and im now the proud owner of 2 adorable cross bengals lola and lottie age 12 and 11 weeks now , i also have 5 other cats 2 males and 3 females ranging in age from 10-15 and holly my dog age 12 , i recently lost lucy my 5 year old i took her to the vet as she was feeling unwell they opened her up and found a massive growth on her kidney the other kidney wasn't working so i had to give them permission not to wake her it broke my heart as the past year ive just got her better from being incontinent , a horrible man kicked her so hard it broke her tail and made her incontinent she had to have her tail chopped off as well , the past year i also lost 2 males in the space of 2 days george age 10 had a bloodclot in his heart and sox age 17 had a stroke then i lost my german shepherd jake to CDRM he was 13 , ive had a horrible time losing 4 of my precious pets in the space of a year i said no more animals then my daughter plotted with my husband to fetch me these 2 wonderful kittens as a suprise and how could i not fall in love with them they are adorable :-)

Hi and welcome to the forum - I saw the kittens on your other message and they're adorable. It's awful when you lose members of your fur family - I lost two Bengals in the space of 6 months but I know have 1 Bengal and 3 moggies who bring me great joy.

you can never replace a lost love one but your two new babies will certainly bring a new joy into your household & keep all your elderlies on their toes :wink:

thank you and its true ive had the most horrible year i can never replace george , sox , jake or lucy , its been horrible and im still not over it i loved them all so so much :cry: ive got them all here at home with me i had them cremated .

when my daughter brought me these 2 little girls i said noooooo i dont want anymore i didnt want to go through anymore pain of losing another beautiful animal but these 2 little girls made me love them :D as im sat here typing they are running around tiny little things playing together , jumping up my leg hanging off it ouch hehe they really have brought joy into my house :D
