Aww thanks Luvbengals,

I suppose there is no right or wrong way its all like you say 'trial and error' For me it was the main things like behaviour and personality I wanted to understand first. :)

Everyone seems so friendly and full of advice in this forum. I am just itching to have my little prince now and maybe who knows there could be two in the future

One thing I didn't know which was a wonderful surprise - the softness of their "pelts.". Tasha feels like the softest silk. Plus, no shedding! I have dark carpet and Tito is a white cat. (Poor choice, I was thinking dark carpet wouldn't show dirt - forgot about fur.). Luckily carpet is only on stairs and one hallway.

I get where you are comming from with the hair my DSH I had years ago left hair everywhere and my mum had a really rubbish hoover that seemed to suck up the hairs and then spit them out behind me..haha at least you only have the stairs to worry about. :)
