This weekend I ran out of the usual litter, so I bought some cheap stuff to get me through till monday.

The first time she made a poo, she didn't covered it. I thought the bigger grain might take some time to get used to, and just removed it.

Later the same day, she poo'ed next to the litterbox, half on the floor and some on the door

Apparently Miss Diva didn't like the cheap litter, and was trying to make a point

Lucky me, my usual brand was on sale, 4x16kg at 50% off. So I had my bf go with me to the store, and drag home (on the bus) 3 of the 4 bags :D

I've only had Noor for 2 weeks, and already she has trained me to get up in the middle of the night, if I forgot to clean it before bedtime.

Isn't life with a bengal great? :D

That's too much....!! There was no mistaking the message she gave you!

My cat Shine is ok with the litter box and doesn't fuss if the litter is a different brand or even if it needs to be changed. But she has trained me to open the door to the porch. Even though the cat door is right next to it. She just doesn't like it and will make a pitiful sound until I open the door. Even if I am inside the house and she is on the porch...

They train us to do exactly what they want and we do it!

Thanks Ginnym :) It a still a novelty and hence amusing ;)

I know exactly what you mean by pitiful sound! First time I heard it was 4 am and I rushed out to see what had happened, which was the unclean litter box :) Gods, they really do have a vocabulary, and you quickly learn what each sound means.

She is absolutely hilarious, the dear little creature :)

My kitten is fine with the litterbox as well, she has a fairly cheap brand and doesn't care at all it the brand is changed.

She has trained me to do things as well, mainly to turn the tap on when she sits in the sink and yells loudly so she can have a drink, even though she has a bowl of water which is regularly changed she will never drink from it!
