Is it the same as when we are in labour and feel like we want to go to the loo but really we need to push the baby out? maybe that is what the feeling she is getting

Can you get her into another room? Then again it may be too late by now and birthed her first kitten

Keep trying to comfort her, hopefully she will calm down in a mo to give birth. Once the babies start to appear she will have no choice but to have them where she is. The poor thing must be quite worried. Is this her first litter? Goodluck with it all

I'm not an expert at this so hopefully someone with advice will come along to help you.
