Thank you to everyone for replying to my post, I am probably being too over cautious and just want to keep the landlord happy. I know theres always going to be a minority but I just want to make sure I can take every precaution before bringing the new baby into the home. I have even contacted all of the local vets to see what medical advice they can give me before he arrives and the prices of neutering, microchipping and check ups when he comes home.

My little boy will hopefully be with me around the 7th of December and am now understanding how everyone else felt before their little ones arrived, I actually feel like I am awaiting the arrival of a human baby, :) I can't sleep, never stop thinking about the actual day and am buying so many toys and bits for him. :)

The name I am thinking of is twiglet, I know it dosen't sound very bengal like but I thought it was cute. If I was going to get a girl I was going to call her Noodle. :D

awww i like twiglet, that's a cute name! :D

also i think you're being very sensible making all the preparations & covering all the eventualities so that things are all ready for the new arrival.

it's so exciting isn't it?! just wait til it's only a few days to go!!

it will be lovely sharing that excitement with you as it gets closer

I like Twiglet! If he likes his food as much as our Mungo he'll be more like a sausage than a twiglet though!

Thank you everyone for your warm welcomes.

I just realised that the title could be misconstrued a little haha  sorry about that. I also wasn't sure if I was posting in the right thread :) .

I have noticed a thread about males and spraying and just wondered if I am setting myself up for a difficult time by wanting a boy, does anyone know if this is common once they have been neutered, as I don't think my landlord will be best pleased if he sprays a lot.

Many thanks..

Females can spray too! My female saffy does, on and off. :?
In fact, any cat who is stressed/ill/annoyed about the new litter  has the potential to spray...whether a Bengal or a mog.

Anyway - A big welcome to the forum - looking forward to pics of your new fur-friend when you've chosen him/her.

For some reason I prefer Noodle as a boy's name and Twiglet as a girl's name :?

Hi Everyone,

Haha cheese football, I know whats going to happen I will end up calling him completely something different when he comes home.

I didn't actually know that female cats spray, at the moment I am learning something new about cats every day. I am still so excited, I will keep you all posted and will upload some photos as soon as I can. :D
