Hello to everyone in the forum,

I have been looking at this forum for a while now and have found a wealth of information from everyone. I thought it was about time that I joined, not that I know much about the bengal breed but thought I could help in anyway possible (I can make a good cup of tea if that helps :D )

I have been into the bengal breed since I was a child and although my mum couldn't afford to buy me one of the earlier generations she brought me a tabby who did not resemble a Bengal in colour but going by some of the posts about behaviour he had a few similarities in that department.

My fiancee finally gave in and decided to buy me one as a present so I am now in the process of trawling through many breeder websites and contacting them about their available kittens. I am hoping to have a little brown spot/rosetted boy in the next few weeks if he is still available and will be uploading pictures if I can figure out how to do so.

Once again I would like to say hello to everyone and finally start interacting with other Bengal lovers in this forum.

Many thanks
Rachel.

Hi and welcome to the forum. I look forward to hearing when you've chosen your first Bengal.

There are plenty of breeders on here who will give you some advice about choosing if you need it.

Thank you everyone for your warm welcomes.

I just realised that the title could be misconstrued a little haha  sorry about that. I also wasn't sure if I was posting in the right thread :) .

I have noticed a thread about males and spraying and just wondered if I am setting myself up for a difficult time by wanting a boy, does anyone know if this is common once they have been neutered, as I don't think my landlord will be best pleased if he sprays a lot.

Many thanks..

Thanks for the advice Kimberley, my little moggie never sprayed either but as its getting close to a new Bengal baby being in the house, I am getting a little anxious and I think I'm reading into everything a little too much. :?: I think your Oscar is gorgeous which breeder did you decide to go with if you don't mind me asking?

Usually you won't have problems spraying with neutered males or females ;).
