So I just realized that I haven't introduced myself! I'm a teacher in Georgia. I am a cat person, but this will be my first time having Bengals.
I don't have my Bengal kittens yet. I'll get them on Memorial Day. I had intended to only get one - but the breeder has been sending me videos of him, and I've noticed that every single video shows that all he wants to do is play with his brother. Seriously - Every. Single. Video. The other kittens will walk around on their own, but not him! His favorite playmate is reserved, so I can't get him. But ... I figure this kitten is probably going to need a fellow cat. The breeder said that she had one other kitten available, so I dipped into my savings to get her. They're not from the same litter, but they were born one day apart and are now being socialized together.
This is my first one, a boy. He's the one in the middle, and has a blue collar that is peeking out.
I love this picture, with everyone's utter focus on the toy.
I don't really see much about his personality, other than enjoying pouncing on another kitten, which worries me. I've never gotten a pet without getting some feel for their personality before. I could visit her to see him, but it's a 10-hour round trip drive, which is a bit much for me. So ... yeah, hopefully it will work out.
And this is my second kitten, a girl:
With her, I can see a bit of personality shining through - and I love it! And I love her face, how it looks all softly golden.
She doesn't have the big rosettes, but her spotting looks more wild, I think! I'm actually really happy that I looked for a second one.
