Hello there,
I would like to introduce Mimi, my 15 year old cat.
I adopted her from Battersea cats and dogs home nearly 2 years ago now after she was found abandoned in an empty house, and have always been intrigued to know if she really is a Bengal or not. Battersea said she was a Bengal but I know her markings do not look the same as other Bengals you see on this forum and on the internet, she has sort of spots, not rosettes and the tips of her fur/coat are quite dark compared to other bengals but she is light golden underneath. It is very silky soft too.
Anyway, It doesn’t matter either way though, I love her to pieces! But she definitely is very different in personality from my previous cats. She is very talkative/vocal, calls out loud and meows quite a lot, and we have many conversations. She is far more interactive than my previous cats, like a dog, comes to me and follows me everywhere. Very intelligent, cheeky, inquisitive and nosy!
Something that I am not sure is a Bengal thing though is that she is completely obsessed with laps or sitting on any part of my body she can balance and get on to. She loves any kind of affection and being held by me?
Anyway I will try and attach some photos below. It is hard to take the best photos of her in good light because when she sees I am focusing on her she moves and wants to come running up to me!

She's a beautiful girl, with a gorgeous warm coat.
If you'd said "Here's some pictures of my spotted Bengal", I wouldn't have questioned it at all.
She looks Bengal to me.

I agree with Tracy. Although it is difficult to see the rosetting, I do believe they are rosettes and not "spots." She is a gorgeous girl. I also see the ringed tail and the solid at the end. Every bengal's rosetting is different. To me this appears to be a purebred bengal. However, only a DNA test will prove for sure. Another member on here just had her kitty tested and found it was a domestic short hair. If you want to spend the money and know for sure, you can probably google and find out how to proceed.
