I posted here a few months ago with my first Bengal kitten, Zahra, who was underweight and lethargic from the start and never improved. She passed after a mere 3 weeks in my home, and spent most of the last week at the vet's. I've now had the joy of a healthy, rambunctious Bengal kitten, and it is time to share Logan with this forum! He is an absolute delight, and growing like a weed! He arrived home at 13 weeks old, weighing 3.7 lbs., and is now 22 weeks old and a solid 8.5 lbs. Without further ado, I present to you my pride and joy, LOGAN!

Logan is stunning! I've added him to my database and he's the second WildNSweet bengal that has an unknown F generation. Do you know the pedigreed names of Logan's parents?

Thank you! His sire is Mangosteen Tsar of Wildnsweet (SBT 051616 054) and his dam is Wildnsweet Silver Rain (SBT 011716 028). Logan is Wildnsweet Wolverine, SBT 032217 13.

Your Logan is an F11. Silver Rain and Tsar are both F10's. I appreciate the information! He is just such a handsome boy.

Yup, I already figured that out based on his mom's sister, who was in one of the online databases. Thanks for confirming!

Aluren Zahra is indeed an F8. I have sent the information to Bengal-Data.com so they (including Logan) can be included in the upcoming update. You can add them to BengalPedigrees.com yourself if you register and put in all the information on the missing cats down the pedigree.

Reading over the dialogue about Logan, an amazingly beautiful cat, I think I've got a cat that's a Bengal. BUT: her previous owner was supposed to give me her papers w name of breeder and (I am very ignorant in these matters) either it fell out of the folder which lay on my husband's desk under stacks of stuff, or I never got it. I don't know who the breeder was. I don't know if Bella is an F5 or an F25. I think is is a Bengal but I'll have to post a photo. The previous owner charged me $600 for her which is what he said he paid. I am so naive in these matters, I can't believe it!

I can assure you, there are no F25 bengals out there. The highest my database goes so far is F13.

If Bella was registered, her previous owner will always be the owner until Bella is transferred to you. Thus, pedigreed papers, if they are available, are very important. You simply did not know to ask the proper questions at the time. And, for many bengal owners, papers are not that important. What is important is the kitty and the personality and temperament and the love that they show.

Thanks. "F25" was intended as humorous. I'm just going to ditch worrying about pedigree. I'll try and upload some photos of her. She is a lovely cat. Sort of dark grayish with brown undertones. Lots of spots (her tummy is adorable), what I call "angel wings" on her shoulders, and arrow-head rosettes. She's extremely intelligent, into everything, has broken several dishes by knocking them off the kitchen counter, etc., etc. And I think the "affection problem" is solved: she's wedded to Jamie, my rescue cat. I think she's bonded primarily with her! Which is fine. It's a delight to watch them romp around together. Bella's always on the look-out for Jamie, and both cats now sleep in the living room together rather than on the master bedroom bed as they used to . . . .
