Hello everyone,
We are new proud owners of an adorable female bengal kitten. In just the few days we've had her shes already brought us so much excitement and joy.
My husband and I were very fortunate to find a breeder close-by and instantly fell in love with this little beauty. Naturally we were concerned about how well she would adapt to our lifestyle and leaving her mother but are extremely happy with the outcome. She is so affectionate, fully littered trained loves to play, sleep and eat and is very inquisitive about her surroundings.

Curious as to what you all think of her and what generation bengal she might be. Her parents were very wild looking! Been looking at a lot of pictures of kittens and how they look grown up and am amazed to how a lot of their looks change. Any ideas of what my sweet girl may look like when she grows up, would be very appreciated in the form of pictures or google images.
Lastly I know she is still young but I've researched that she is suppose to be very vocal. Do their personality's effect their vocals or is this just a age factor?

Welcome! She's lovely, what a handful she will be. Our cats were quite silent in the beginning, then became totally noisy and now they have quietened down - mostly at bedtime, now we have a routine set that works for all... They do give us little whingey yowls from time to time and it's hilarious to hear them cackle at prey

Aww, she is gorgeous! Congratulations! There is no way to tell an F generation of a bengal without knowing the pedigreed names of the parents. I do have a large database (46,000 strong) of bengals and F generations. If I have the parents in my database with F generations, I can tell you the F generation of your baby. If not, then a certified pedigree would allow me to have the information I need.

As for vocalizing -- if your kitty is quiet now, enjoy it, because they do find their voice at some point. Mine is 10 years old and yowls all the time. I think all bengals can vocalize differently, but you will be amazed at the number of different sounds a bengal can make.

Happy to hear she has settled in great! Now, sit back and enjoy the adventures! That is, AFTER you have completely bengal proofed your home.

Sherry, interesting u mention their voice. Koneko has this little whimpy meow, much more high note than usual cats. But still adorable. He lets us know when he wants to play with his wand toy. Or if he's bored.

Ironically, many breeders have no idea of the F generation of their cats and don't care. Lynxland, in particular. She told me she is much more interested in the quality of the cat than the F generation -- and that is fine. She was passing off a sire that she claimed was an F6, but was actually an F8, based on the TICA certified pedigree.

TICA has approximately 128,000 registered bengals, so I don't have a LOT of them. I am not familiar with Sir William Wallace and there are 316 "Belle"s in my database. Thus, I would need an actual pedigree to go by, Lori.
