Hi folks

I'm James and last Friday I collected our first bengal . My family has kept cats since I was born and always 2 x brother Tom cats . When I built my own house and moved out from the family home we had 6 years without a cat. Having always wanted a bengal I decided to take the plunge when a friend had a bengal for sale . We were a little worried about introducing it to our 2 golden retrievers but after a few days he was full of mischief and charisma and decided while I was feeding the dogs in our kitchen on the other side of the baby gates that he would sneak through and join them for food . We also have 3 young children ages 6 2 and 20 months, the 6 year old absolutely loves to cuddle into the cat

Welcome, James. You may have had cats previously, but you never had a bengal and it is a whole new experience. You will have adventure after adventure. Happy he has settled in so well. I will say, it is easier when you have children who can occupy Rocco when he insists on attention! Enjoy, enjoy!
