Meet Rocket and Luna

Hi everyone,

We've been reading as much as we could from this website for months in preparation for when we could finally get some bengals. Happy to say we picked these 2 bundles of nightmares up on Tuesday 23rd and couldn't be happier. Luna is a 12 1/2 weeks old Seal lynx and Rocket a 13 1/2 week old brown Rosetta.

Both have the same father and but different mothers from a breeder here in Bristol : They started off shy but have now slowly shown us their personalities.

Any beginners advice would be appreciated.

Yeah he certainly has some nice markings. We had first pick of the litter and he stood out from the crowd and couldn't resist.

Beautiful babies, just out of interest what breeder did you get yours from, I'm also in Bristol.

We got them from jayuzuri bengals. I can highly recommend them to anyone who's interested in getting one from the Bristol area.

They are lovely people aren't they and so helpful.

They only live around 25 minutes from me so that's perfect.

Here's my 2.

Pearl my girl is a seal lynx point she was 1 in October.

Magic my boy is a brown spotted he was 4 in March.

Wow they are gorgeous. And yes they were so friendly and helpful, we visited them many times to see how they were growing up and always very patient with our endless requests and questions.

I'm just trying to find out what sort of toys they enjoy playing with. They have so many but none stand out as favourites yet. How about your two?

The most favourite is the cat tree, they chase each other up and down that like mad things, the other which they really love is their flying frenzy wand toy, I have them chasing it and jumping in the air, you can buy replacement or different ends for it which is good, this is a very useful toy just before bedtime to tire them out so they don't wake us up too early.

Ah We have 2 cat trees also.

A 5ft one in the living room and a smaller 3ft in their own room. The seem to enjoy the bigger one mostly. Toys wise rocket The brown doesn't have a favourite, he will chase anything you throw but soon as it lands he loses interest and comes comes back to you.

Luna on the other hand likes these little metallic foil balls and chases them round the house. And her new favourite as of earlier today is when I was unpacking our new Hoover. It's the clear plastic plug protector that comes with new appliances. She goes absolutely nuts with it and puts it in her mouth and wanders off with it.

Pearl does this with plastic lids from milk or squash bottles.

No matter how much money yoi spend on toys it's always the freebies that are the best. Forgot to mention that rocket loves brooms or brushes, no matter what size.

His game is making me struggle to try and sweep up their cat litter whilst he attacks it

Goodness, that breeder has produced some stunning kitties!! Very beautiful. Were they sold as breeding or show quality? They all look so gorgeous!

We bought rocket and Luna as pets from them but you can buy their bengals as breeders.

Pearl was earmarked to be a breeding cat, due to circumstances the breeder who was due to have her didn't come back for her, I happened to ring up to see if they had any female snows and they offered me her so I jumped at the chance to have her.
