Hi folks, just saying hello. I've got two new members of the family arriving this Sunday and thought I'd join to celebrate.

No names yet, both 13 weeks right now.

Oh, they are so beautiful!!!! Wait until you get them to give them names. Observe them for a couple of days and names will come to you that will fit them perfectly! Welcome to the forum and congratulations!

Thanks guys. We've had em for about 36 hours now and it's been a whirlwind. :D

They settled in super-quick, I couldn't be happier really. They seem confident and happy, tails up and playing full steam within an hour of getting them home. They are absolutely gorgeous. The boy is a sweetheart. Today he's been purring, head bumps and bunny hops. I thought he might be a bit stand-offish, but turns out he's a very affectionate kitten. His sister is a little more reserved, we've still had purrs from her, but not with the same enthusiasm as her brother. But it's only been 36 hours with new people in a new home, I couldn't be happier. They seem to get on very well together, their tails go up when they see each other and when they see us. They both seem to be well established on a raw diet. They are loving their food and clear the bowl at each meal. Poo is firm and non-smelly. Wonderful. To my astonishment, they have also been quit well behaved - I think that is probably because we are putting so much into entertaining them though. We'll see if it lasts. :D

Sorry about the rubbish iphone pics - I'll get some better ones with my DSLR at some point, but the phone is just so convenient.

Love that last one, the little boy actually seems to have a smile on his face. :D

Very nice, congrats, some very nice catification there too. Their markings are so dark and contrast-y!

Well behaved? If that is the case after the first week, I'd be worried about their health  And I'm not really joking actually  . One does not get bengals, hoping for well-behaved cats!

The look that the girl is giving in your first pictures I know all too well! That's the same look that Serafina gives before she's about to do something really crazy! I call it the google-y-eyed look.

Yeah, dad is a brown GC and mum is a melanistic/charcoal. This is only the second litter from these two cats but the breeder says all her kittens have had very high contrast. I saw one of the kittens from the first litter who is about 12 months old now. Her rosettes have opened up and she is stunner.

I meant relatively speaking. :D We've had a bengal before and my mum has a snow spotted too, so we knew what we were in for. I had steeled myself for world war III, but they haven't been that bad - yet! :D

Some quick videos...

The little girl takes issue with a bed that is obviously sub-standard...

A bit of rough and tumble and more bedding punishment...

The little boy is a love-machine. You've only got to look at him and he starts purring...

Nahh, it's OK. It's cold-war Russian tech, made from old tractors and weighs about 300lbs. :D

PS, what is catification?

All these pretty kitties. Genevieve did not start a new topic for her kitties! I just find the bengals so gorgeous!!!!

Catification is really a great thing. You literally make your home cat friendly with all the cat trees, climbing shelves and toys they need. All you really need is one tall cat tree and the toys. If you have more than one living area, you may want to get a cat tree for each. Bengals love to be where you are and they are very social kitties! So be prepared to give them all the attention they demand.

I cant believe I've had these guys for only 3 days. They seem so well settled, trusting and affectionate. They even seem to be best friends. I'm so happy, check out this video - 2 happy kittens with full bellies....
