She is here!!!!

Hello everyone!! My baby girl is finally home! We have decided to name her Lila. She is adjusting amazingly! She already ventures out of her bathroom safe haven to play with the kids and I amd has pee'd in her litter box. Still waiting on her to eat and poo but all in all she is just amazing. She seems quite timid about climbing/jumping up or down though. Is this just normal kitten nerves?? Oh and she has the most adorable meow! Google the desert rain frog, she sounds almost exactly like it except not as high of a pitch! I did take her to the vet and she got a clean bill of health but the vet would like to see her gain some weight as she is only 2.6 lbs right now. Shouldn't be a problem though!!

Lila loves belly rubs, too! She is beautiful. Congratulations!!!! She's undergoing a huge change in environment right now. Getting a new family is stressful, but it looks like she's blending in perfectly right now. Just give her time ... it will get better each and every day.

Don't worry about her being timid jumping and climbing, she's still getting to know her new home. In a couple of weeks there will be no stopping her, I'm sure. Then it becomes a real mission trying to find them once they have the run of the house lol

Thanks everyone! She is still doing amazing and has started eating her food and even used the litter box! Sorry I know that is probably TMI but I am a proud mama! :biggrin:
