Thank you all! Yes he has TONS of energy and randomly attacks everything. He thinks everything is fair game to play with including my glasses which he likes to try and steal
he absolutely adores the kids especially my 4 year old. They have been inseparable since he has been home. Noah (my son) can get him really into da bird so he plays with him several times throughout the day and the older kids like to feed him and give him water. I think we are going to be good as far as him being ok with the kids. He is the most socialized kitten I have ever seen. He only cried for about an hour on our 8 hour drive back home. Once we got him home he came out of his crate and had a look around. He then jumped up on my bed and started kneading and purring. He is such a ham and loves attention from anyone and everyone including our dog. He stalks him for hours on end and once he pounces on him he grooms him and then they take a nap together.
I have started letting BB into his safe room while he is out in the house. BB has a good smell around and makes some horrible sounds but she doesn't take long to calm down. Feeding them on opposite sides of the door has seemed to make a lot of progress too. They play underneath the door with each other and BB'S hissing has stopped. She seems really anxious to get in there with him. She cries at the door and last night she ran straight to him when I opened the door. I didn't panic and let them smell each other. There was no hissing or bad body language so I think I will let them in the same room within the next few days. I feel really good about it, nothing has bothered him since he has been here and she is so confident I think they will be ok.
