Hi everybody, my name is Eric and I'm from the Netherlands.
I have a snowbengal of ten years old and whas wondering how old she can get, as if she is getting skinnier and greyer then normal :sad:

No one can ever tell how old a cat can get. So much depends on the cat's health and whether a cat is allowed to roam outdoors. The average life span of a bengal is 12+ years. Of course, a bengal can live much longer than that. I'm not sure if you're asking the age question because your cat is getting skinnier and grayer or if you're asking if they will get skinner or grayer with age. My bengal will be 8 years old in March and he's a muscular boy with no gray hairs. Your little gal is quite beautiful.

Welcome to this forum and congratulations on your 10 year old SnowBengal. Good question and one I wanted to ask as I am new owner of a 2+ year old Bengal.

Luna is already skinnier and grey/whiter on top. Just whas curious what the average of bengals would be. Mine is always inside the house, never been ill, just some minor accidents :confused:

with fishing lures, brouched tail and pawn under the slamming door :rolleyes:

She's beautiful. Indoor cats that are well cared for can easily live 12 years or more. If she's losing a lot of weight it would be a good idea to have a vet give her a thorough checkup just to make sure she doesn't have anything bad going on inside.
