Hello everyone,
I rescued this little angel from the axel of a truck parked in a casino parking lot in Reno, Nv. My mother and I were walking out to our car when I heard a small meow cry. When I found her, I wasn't going to leave until I caught her and knew she was safe. Why she was there in the middle of a huge parking lot with no residential area for blocks, I will never know. But she is safe now and has a forever home with me and my husband, two other cats and a dog.
She appeared to be approx. 8-10 weeks old when we rescued her. She was very small and still had the fuzzies. We knew she was a Seal Lynx Point but something about her markings is throwing us off a bit. She has slightly undefined spots on her body that in certain lighting almost look like incomplete rosettes, the eye liner, the broken M at the forehead, ringed tail with the black tip and black paw pads. Her fur is very dense and silky soft. In the light, I almost see glitter but it is a bit hard to tell for sure with her very light coloring. And her hind legs are taller than her front and have the very distinctive thigh shape that I've seen on other bengals. I have to say though... that her markings have really changed. She grew out of the markings at the top of her head, and the spots have not gotten any darker. It almost seems that they've gotten a bit lighter.
Her personal fits to a T with what I've read on Seal Lynx Point Siamese. She is very outgoing, energetic, athletic, curious, and everything is a toy to her. She loves to climb, loves the water, and wants to go outside. We take her out occasionally on a harness and leash. She is also an aggressive little kitty for after a few days of being with us, she was comfortable enough to pounce on our nearly 20lb Siberian/Ragdoll boy. She truly stalks him (all the time), with her ears back and has the look of attack in her eyes. He is a good boy though and is gentle with her.
Anyhow, I am hoping that someone here who is familiar with SLP can help me identify if she might have bengal markings. I am not expecting her to be purebred, but it would be interesting to she what the experts might say. I've attached some photos of her below, sorry about them being so many. Please start with the very last photo and work your way up.
Thank you in advance for your responses.
