Hi there! I have rescued two ten week old blue bengal/bengal cross kittens from people who were mistreating the kittens and I have come here in hopes of finding other experienced bengal owners. I will be honest this is my first rodeo. I never anticipated rescuing two kittys let alone bengals but they were headed to the spca. I am certain that with my commitment, time, space, and financial stability alongside books, google and fellow bengal owners I can keep them safe, healthy, and happy. They are currently nameless, its taken a few days to have them settle in. They were extremely traumatized when I first picked them up, currently they have my bedroom and ensuite as their space until they are more comfortable with our family. One is much more skittish than the other but I awoke to both snuggled into my neck so I believe were moving in the right direction. I look forward to recieving proactive positive feedback and hope this will be a helpful resource for me.

Hi and welcome. How lovely of you to rescue these poor kitties and it really sounds like you are doing all the right things to help them get over their trauma and settle in with you.

I love reading stories like this. Sounds like your babies are settling in just fine ... snuggling around your neck is a GREAT sign of things to come. I'm sure they are so grateful for you coming to their rescue. I know they will bring years of pure enjoyment to your life. Welcome to the forum.
