Hello. Here are my 2 Bengal boys who have been living with me for a couple of weeks now. Wee rascals they are but they're settling in just great. Even my Spanish Greyhound is coming round to the idea of them cuddling into her :-) Toshi is the spotted one and Merlin is the Cashmere (long haired) Bengal. This was them when I 1st got them. Their markings are coming out well now!

They are gorgeous! I have heard about a long haired bengal but hadn't seen one until now x

They certainly are! Here is a much better photo of Merlin, the cashmere, when he was still with the breeder. I hope she doesn't mind me using her photo. It just shows what beautiful cats she produces :-)

Yes, it is quite sad that they were bred out of lines in the past, and probably mostly still are by many breeders...and so aren't accepted everywhere as a true Bengal. I love the long haired Bengal. The coat is so soft and silky and the hair is longest around the head - like a mane - and on the tail. At least now they are gaining in popularity and the breeder I got Merlin from seems keen to breed more of them :-)
