Hello from Vancouver. This is my first time here.
We have a beautiful girl by the name of Scout. She is fifteen months old, fearless, friendly, inquisitive and LOUD. She loves going into the lobby or our parkade or our building and yelling - she loves the echo and turns round and comments to us about how good it sounded. She was bought with breeding rights and has been in heat 4-5 times. However, we are hesitant to breed her as she is quite small - only 7.5 pounds - and we are concerned that, frankly, she's not big enough. Our original plan is to have a litter of kittens which we will keep and then have her fixed but we have not acted on it (and may not, opting to have her spayed and buying a couple more kittens). None of the local breeders will countenance stud service and whilst I'm quite happy to buy a stud cat, since I have no plan to sell any of the kittens (they have been spoken for many times over by my sisters - all experienced cat owners), my bigger concern is the welfare of both parents as I am well aware of the challenges of breeding (in fact, the excellent article on this forum was what brought me here in the first place). I would hate to find that after the breeding process the parents didn't get along. Anyway - that's a topic for a different time and place.

We have tried her on raw food but she doesn't really like it. She gets high quality canned food (always available) and Royal Canin dry food (always available) but remains slim and muscular. She is walked on a leash every day for at least 2 hours - often she gets 4-6 hours if we go to the park. When she's in heat she won't go far (we live in the middle of downtown) but when she isn't she will go 4-5 blocks, chasing birds, dogs and flies and climbing trees (that's where the birdies is!). The birds and I discovered she can jump 6 feet straight up at exactly the same moment and boy, were we both surprised! She is unafraid of water (she jumps into the lake to chase ducks) but doesn't like the rain. She loves driving in the car which is set up with a litter box, food and water in the back and she travels everywhere with us. We took her on a long road trip to Southern California and she just loved exploring a new hotel room every night, bouncing around and playing hide-and-seek. Her favorite game is Chase The Cat where we chase her, tag her, and then run away (we have 3 floors). After about 30 seconds she will meow "I'm coming" (No. I'm not kidding) and then flies around with her back arched and tail fluffed until she finds tags us at which point she runs and hides and it all starts again. She never gets tired of this game and I swear I've lost 20 pounds trying to keep up with her. My wife and I are constantly laughing at her mischievous antics and she has brought joy into our lives.

Sounds like you have a fantastic cat and a wonderful relationship with her.
I can't comment on the breeding element as I have little knowledge but there are some really experienced breeders on here who will be able to help you.

To post pictures, you have to have them uploaded on the internet. They can't upload from your computer. There is a thread in the "gallery" section which gives you instructions on posting pictures.

Sounds like you've got yourself quite the little lady--more like a princess. I don't know anything about breeding except that it's a lot of work and it costs money. It's not somethingI would undertake, but I'm thankful to those who do, so we can have our beautiful bengals.

Hello fellow British Columbian!! I live in Kelowna, BC :)

Scout sounds like a blast...and she sounds a lot like my bengal, Kai. Kai also LOVES to play tag and will play it every day after work. He is 7 months old and we take him outside all the time on his harness. I'll attach a picture of Kai last weekend "helping" us wheel barrow dirt around our yard. We are putting in patio stones and he really enjoyed digging and finding lots of bugs :)

We drove and camped along the Oregon Coast a couple summers back and we'd love to do a trip like that (i'd prefer in hotels!!) with Kai.

Scout is beautiful! And she sounds like such a wonderful cat :) What breeder did you get her from?
