Hello
My2Bengals are my perfect little angels....ha, no really...so incredibly unique, Bubba (male) Bengal brown spotted big fella over 20lbs, fit though has a little blonde mohawk between his ears. Poshy "Little" (female) Bengal brown spotted 12lbs, is in my most humble opinion the cutest girl in the world. She is the runt of the litter. She has perfect markings, is like a kitten, in size and behavior. She is in charge, makes decisions..interesting. Although she yields to her brother Bubba, she is so polite and such a lovey. I've had them for 10 years since they were 7 weeks when I bought them from a breeder up in Napa CA. Their original names were (male) Hot Shot (female) Hermione.
I adore them and have had a recent scare from Bubba taking a hard leap on day when I was out. He was limping for a few days. I am like a nervous mother. I was really worried. Took him to the vet, NO easy feet, takes forever to catch them. They hate to be taken anywhere. But this had to be checked. He just pulled something and is fine now. No fractures or other issues the vet assured me.
I am wondering about Blue Mountain food, I fed it to them for a while and noticed some improvements in their coats but, this recent incident with Bubba the vet mentioned that she thought he may be having trouble with the high protein in that food. I went back to science diet original, and they gobbled it up and seem more active, etc.
I look forward to reading about your Bengals and any feedback about Blue Mountain (indoor health) food is appreciated.
