Thought I would drop by and look gaining more knowledge and advice on our new addition, Loki.

He's 12 weeks old, and came home on Saturday. He settled in straight away. We were told to introduce him to the house slowly, but he broke out of a room within 5 minutes, and decided the house was his. A little apprehensive at first, but even slept on our bed all night. We've got two other monsters, 8 and 5 (the human kind) and they're completely taken by him, and wear him out throughout the day.

He's a little terror, playing with everything. Stealing the kids' toys, socks and anything he can get his paws on.

He's actually a little darker than in this

But he settled very quickly

Loki is beautiful. Good that the kids wear him out!

Lovely part of the world, Brisbane. I met my husband in Surfer's Paradise in 1989 whilst we were both on a 12 month working visa going round the world!

Tried making dinner for tonight. He kept stealing utensils. Cloves of garlic. I turned my back for one minute, and he stole a bag of flour and spices I'd prepared. All ready to coat some meat.

"You needed this then?"

Soooo.... You simply roll the meat along the trail to clean up, carry on cooking and share your meal with a happy kitty. :wink1:

What's the problem? Seems like everyday living with a Bengal to me. :rofl:

Personallity is one way of putting it. Kleptomaniac suits more. Nothing's safe around him. If he can put it in his mouth and move it. It's his. The worst is spoons. The minute you make a drink, he's up and grabbed it. The other is the sink plugs, they have built in strainers. He pulls the whole assembly out and somehow manages to dismantle it and runs off with the rubber washer. Even if there's water in the sink, he still plunges his head in to get at it.

And the picture above with the gecko, his little friend was on the other side of the glass. We have to make sure none get in. He caught one earlier on in the year and ate it before we could stop him. It made him pretty sick, they can carry parasites that normal treatments don't stop.

You only have to mention the work gecko and he's bounding to the door to look. He recognises quite a few words, even the names of some of his toys.
