So, after spending months reading on this forum I finally have pictures of my lovely little boy, so I decided to introduce myself and my stunning little Shiro. He is our first Bengal and my husband and I are so excited! We still have WEEKS to wait and the time can't pass quickly enough! Like I said, I have done a lot of reading on this forum and have also done a lot of research to ensure that we will be as prepared as possible. We will be bringing him home at the end of March and are really hoping that he will adjust well. We do have a Miniature Schnauzer that absolutely adores cats, so we really hope that the two of them will bond and become good pals. We are also excited to raise our 7 month old son with a cat in the house, as well as a dog, bird and several aquariums
We do love our pets... After going through 5 years of intense health issues with our previous cat (Max, mixed breed barn cat) and losing him at the very young age of 5 1/2 years, we decided to go the route of a registered breed. Of course the Bengal is an attractive cat, naturally we were drawn to its incredible markings and after doing a large amount of research decided to find a breeder and reserve our boy! The general personality and temperment description of the breed is phenomenal. I hope that he will be just as vocal and social as his parents are. What wonderful cats!
Shiro is now 3 weeks old, but here he is at 2 weeks. (I'm still waiting for the new pictures)
