It sounds like you will have trouble on your hands if one of your boys picks on the other already...... There are lots of very good threads on the forum ref introductions.

One very good idea is to swap blankets with their scents on - so the established cats know the intruders smell and vice-versa. Also ensure that you share affection and play with all of them equally to avoid jealousy. It may be quite a while before they all become 'happy family' and you need to be prepared that may never happen if the other boys already have fighting issues over territory! Have you discussed the current situation you describe with the breeder? If not, it may be wise, because if it doesn't work out, the kitten may need to go back to her....

One thing I do think is that your new kitten should be in a safe room - not a dog crate - as he will have nowhere to feel safe if (when) the others do pick on him and the crate has been packed away! This is something very important in giving him the best chance to integrate safely.

Some VERY good advice in a short sentence from Lollo: "Make sure your new kitten is thoroughly tested and vaccinated to protect all pets. Provide an individual safe space for both the newcomer and the original pet(s). Share scents and toys frequently. All visits should be supervised and if there is a problem, remove the newcomer as opposed to correcting the original tribe member(s). Feeding together is usually the last step in the integration process."

Thanks for the advice, I am currently focusing on mixing the scents. The kitten going back isnt an option, My kids have bonded with
him and so have I, the thought of taking him back to the breeder makes me feel sick, thats why i want to play this by the book and get it right. Chester is the dominant but he is a softie, and I have to believe that he will accept the kitten eventually, I will do anything and everything I can to help that happen.

I forgot to add that I have purchased a Feliway plug in, and my older bengals have become a lot more chilled than normal, its quite the revelation! I have had the kitten on my bed last night, playing with him, then allowed Chester to smell where he has been, he growled and hissed but compared to me doing it 4 nights ago the reaction was atleast 50% less.
