hi all,just joined the forum as i'm very curious about my 14week old kitten and her markings.we got her from a family who didnt have time for her and we took her on as our own and love her to bits but her markings got me wondering and thought you guys would know more..she has long back legs very slender very vocal quite spotty and after taking her to the vets he said she looks like she has some bengal in her, she can jump 2metres no problem and loves sitting in the sink and bath,quite dominate towards my older ginger tom, so if any of you guys can give me any insite to her i would be grateful, doesnt matter what breed she is really she is loved to death by us all,here are some pics of her markings

She actually looks more like an Oriental Ticked Tabby to me - I had one, very like the Bengal, but a Siamese type miaow. The mackerel spots are very well-spaced, which is why I think she is unlikely to be a Bengal, more likely an Oriental!

What did the family you got her from say she was? The reason I ask is because if a kitten is part bengal, people usually make a point of shouting it from the rooftops in order to find it a home quicker/for more cash.

For this reason alone, if no one has mentioned bengals thus far, then I doubt she is part bengal.

all they said was they paid quite abit for her and had no time for her and could we give her the best home poss they didnt want money for her only a nice home for her to grow up and be loved
