Hi everyone,
My name is Karen, I live in the NE of sunny England (
) and I am married with 3 human boys aged 3, 10 and 16yrs. We have a Boxer Marvin who is 6 human years old and I moderate on a boxer form.
I have wanted a Bengal for a few years now and almost got a kitten last year but had a friend in need so she got my Bengal fund to help her out of a situation.
I have had a cat before (a rescue kitten) who grew up to be a very loving girl. Sadly she was pts a couple of years ago.
I have contacted a number of breeders recently and heightened my search for a retired Bengal girl. As I work full time I would be more worried about the antics of an unsupervised kitten than an Adult.
I found a breeder with whom I have struck up a rapport due to liking what she is about and her commitment to the quality of the breed and how she treats her cats. I was impressed that she put her foot down about a cat that I wanted but that she felt were we not right for her...
Anyhow, we kept in touch and I am hopefully, all being well following a vet visit next week, going to be the very proud owner of a gorgeous 3yr old Bengal girl.
I already have a comprehensive introduction plan for her and my boxer and have done a lot of research and sought a lot of advice as I am determined and patient enough to ensure it goes as smoothly as possible
I look forward to seeing all your gorgeous fur babies and hearing of all their antics and whetting my appetite with your pics
