Hi,

My name is Mike and I've been reading posts here for a little while to research before committing to getting a bengal. I just moved into a new 3 bedroom home in Central California and have a ton of space for a bengal to wreak havoc and play. Tomorrow afternoon I'll be bringing home a 12 week old bengal kitten.

This is the first pet I've owned in my adult life and I look forward to the challenge and the enjoyment. I found a breeder about 90 minutes away and was able to check out two litters back in September. There were several gorgeous kittens but this kitten stole my heart within a minute. She was willing to interact while her siblings were a little more skittish. She is very playful at the time and according to the breeder has grown even more so in the last few weeks. I've chosen the name O-Ren Ishii (couldn't pick an easy name!) for her.

While I've picked up litter boxes, scratching posts, stick/string toys, a cat bed, a large tree, and a fountain water dish, I know there will be many questions ahead. I already appreciate the information I've gleaned from this forum and look forward to interacting with you all. Attached below are a couple of pictures of O-Ren Ishii:

Thanks gang! Between the car ride home and getting used to the new place we both had a rough night and morning. Today has gone much better as she's been affectionate and we've played a bunch.
