Thanks guys for Linux's warm welcome!
He is such an interesting little boy, we love him. The noises he makes are just the best, I can't even describe them.. Somewhere in between a 'roar' and a growl, lol. Earlier today he was playing 'pawsies' with the other cats under the door, and every time they would stick a paw under he'd make his crazy little noise and bolt off running into the other room.
Then he'd come hopping back, sometimes sideways doing the crab-walk, and taunt them again.
He's very content here with us, which is wonderful because being an F1 I wasn't too sure how this was going to go. So many people make them out to be like semi-feral cats who would rather be without much human contact, but with Linux we've found it to be the complete opposite! He loves being with and around us. He used to cry (more like scream) when we had to leave him alone but now he has learned that it's only temporary, and doesn't cry anymore. But when we come into the room he gets so excited and starts bounding around happily, and after a while of playing will curl up either on or next to me. I'm not sure if this is just because he's a kitten or what, but he seems to enjoy our company even more than some of my other cats (mainly the two girls).
He has also been very friendly and comfortable with our family members that he's met so far. This part though, I'm wondering if will change as he gets older.
He was also great with the other cats that he's briefly met a few times, though I still keep him separate and will do so for a while now. I really need to be sure he's got a complete grasp on the whole litter box thing before I let him start venturing out into the rest of the house (he's not having any accidents, but since he's an F1 I'm being extra cautious). When he's alone he stays in the guest bathroom, but when we're around (which is a lot, especially since OH spends the majority of his time in the office) I close the hallway door and let him out so he can go between the bathroom, guest room, and office as he pleases.
I haven't really been able to get many good pictures of him, he's just so hard to photograph when he's running around all the time.
So for now it seems the only clear pics I've got are the ones where he's resting/sleeping.
