Is it normal for a Bengal you brought home less than 24 hours ago, albeit. 2 year old, to be comfortable enough to curl up on your lap and wash herself?

Jirakka is a silver spotted Bengal, who is (apparently) not a lap cat (my lap says otherwise) and my first Bengal... Although we have 3 other moggies - Onyxia, Nefarian and Squig... The first 2 and Jirakka are named after World of Warcraft black dragon flight members, while Squig came with her name!

I'm in Coventry and live with my husband and the kitties. will post photos when I get the net back properly - we're currently on iPad only!

I love that you picked some of your cat names after dragons hehe! You'll find a few other gaming bengal owners on here too. Eric is especially enjoying sitting right in front of my pc screen whilst I try and learn my new healing spec at the moment

Well, Squig's name is from Warhammer - her brother was Carnifex who wandered off in January and never came home...

Jirakka was going to be Sindragosa... But she doesn't look like one... And Alextrazsa shortens to Lexi which is too close to Ony!

Can't play wow ATM cause new house doesn't have net yet!

Hello there, and welcome! Can't wait to see pics of your crew - and congrats on bringing home your new Bengal girl. I LOVE the names (ex-WoW player here. I've sort of forced myself to stop playing though, lol). None of my cats are named after WoW characters, but I have named some cats the shelter I work at after them.. We had a black cat named Onyxia, two Sphynx brothers named Illidan and Kazzak, and a black/white tuxedo girl named Azshara. I think WoW makes for some very unique and interesting kitty names!

We've realised that buying Jirakka means no collectors ed MoP for me. Gah. Husband had BC CE and I've never had one. Ah well, real pet beats lucky quillen cub, right?

Yup, sounds normal. I bought honey home, who is nearing on 7, 3 weeks ago and within 24hrs, she was curled up on my lap

Former WoW player here too, from launch until Cata. Realized when we spent time creating application forms and interviewing people for raid spots that it had become a second job, and we wrapped things up.

Can't imagine playing with the new cat around-I spend waay too much time trying to figure out what keys she stepped on and why my browser is doing odd things.

The only time I get to type without her sleeping on the keys is while she eats.

I now feel bad for yelling at former fellow raiders for screwing up and their seemingly lame excuses about their cats.

Well, it is amusing when you're fighting a dragon boss and apologising that Onyxia is on the keys... She obviously doesn't want you to kill her family... Sindragosa hasn't met her virtual namesake yet though...
