Hello!
I became slave to the wonderful Seren just over 2 weeks ago. Before that I had been Mummy to Siamese but after our girl died in May I felt the need for a change. I have always loved the look of Bengals so began to read more about them and came across this forum at the same time as I found my lovely girl.
Seren is now nearly 5 months old. We found her and brought her home at 17 weeks - it was our luck that the breeder hadn't been able to sell her before then. She is an amazing cat. She had lived in the breeders front room (large room set up for cats and where the breeder spends her time) with her sisters and mother and although had met dogs, grandchildren etc she hadn't lived with children. Within 36 hours she was TOTALLY comfortable with my lively children aged 2 and 4. She's a little wary of the 2 year old now as he likes to chase her (though I am always telling him to leave her alone) and has a fantastic relationship with the 4 year old who loves to wave wand toys around for her. She is also totally laid back when other little children come to visit.
She is very playful and does somersaults running after her toys and, on advice from this forum, I got a Da Bird. Within 24 hours I was ordering replacment feathers
She loves all the family but seems to have bonded with me the most. I only have to think of sitting down and she comes running to sit on my lap regardless of how many children I already have on me.
I am well aware of forum rules about photos but haven't been able to attach any. However, these links will show her:
