Hi I am a 15 year old from Illinois and I have been looking/researching Bengals for a long time(Okay for about 3 months now:D). I decided to join and see how much more I can learn. A little about myself I am not the typical teenage. I would rather sit at him with the dogs training them, playing with them ext.. then going out and getting drunk. I don't see the importance of it,lol. I want to do something with my life, not get caught and flip burgers for the rest of my life. I have 2 Labs, Tank and Bentley. Tank is a 7 year old Black lab and Bentley a 2 year old Yellow lab. I also have a ferret named Koda. And a DLH named Fat Albert(long story,lol). I am currently looking for a responsible Bengal breeder near me to possibly visit with theirs cats and make sure a bengal is for me.

Good for you, you sound like me. I know there are people who will disagree with me, but "getting drunk" just sounds like the most boring activity ever... The legal issues didn't deter me, really, I just have never had any interest in those types of things. I like my cognitive abilities, motor skills, and dignity unimpaired, and there are so many more rewarding things to be doing. One of the main arguments for drinking from my friends was "it helps you loosen up and have fun". Yeah...pretty sure I'm 100% capable of having fun without any "help", and not being able to remember what happened the night before isn't really that cute or funny. Anyway, I rant.

If you like an active, more dog-like cat I think you'll like bengals. You should post pictures of your pets, too. :3

I'm a she Yes, I know how much they go for ect.. I may not get one in the next year or so but wait a little bit...doesn't mean I can't learn more in the mean time, right(I have also been looking into rescues, all my animals except my ferret are rescues). I do hang out with friends but it is more of going to the 4-H shows or tractor pulls and having fun( and my friends no most of the time, the dogs join too and are very excepting of that) I don't do good in big crowds, though. Yes, tractor pulls ect.. have big crowds but I hang out with a few friends(maybe two or three).

Tractor pulls, 4-H and that dirt road/field in the pic I know were your coming from now I've been there before. Nope not a lot to do besides "field parties" with your friends. I spent a few years growing up around (Northwest PA) lucky I found dirt bikes but until you can drive not alot to do. Even then its not great. I like to go camping in Northwest PA with my Bengal and he certainly loves it http://bengalcatforums.com/forums/viewt ... 11&t=15999 I still stick buy not getting tied down with commitment there's a big world out there you should experience when your older. Afterwards feel free to move back traffic gets me angry
