I'm a huge supporter of learning to drive a stick....more than raw. Everyone should do it, I've taught a lot of people and girls are the easiest because they take it easy. Guys want to bang the gears. I'm VW nut and the biggest event is in NJ we should meet up I'll show show you scared. I've had people throw up and pee themselves from my driving A lot "walk home" but I've never had an accident "knock on wood" Pouncey's done 147mph Camping was in southern NJ I did spend my senior trip in northern NJ. I bet I lived in more ghetto in East Liberty

Pouncey has no cat friends he tries but he's to physical and wants to touch. He loves dogs and has lots of friends. I think just one cat friend would change things. He's just trying too hard. Ever take Fendral to the ocean? What happens?

A stick makes you one with the vehicle and more in control. Its like running on pavement to mud for me. Once you learn you won't want do drive anything else. But one day you'll have a minivan and they only have auto. But you'll miss the stick. I learned on a stick and took my driving test with one.

Actually, I had a Ford Aerostar that had a standard transmission. Do they not make these now?

Kyenta1, IDK just my experience I've never seen a stick in a van. I wouldn't get rid of my car but I've been wanting a van for a tool truck. I only bought a truck because it was a stick. I like the accessibility and the hatch as a rain guard. I know a lot about all vehicles old, new, computerized diesel, gas, electric and can fix anything electrical/mechanical not just cars but literally anything. But I'm at a loss on automatic transmissions its like trying to figure out a women.....impossible

Haha.. Don't feel bad Phelan, I don't drive either. All I've got is my permit that I was required to get back in driver's ed. I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've actually driven a decent distance by myself, it's just a huge fear of mine. I think I worry too much in general, but when it comes to driving it's as if I just KNOW something bad is going to happen. There are a lot of terrible drivers here though. But I guess there are bad drivers everywhere.
