An oldie from St. Louis Missouri

Hi, my name is Dennis and I have two Bengals, Heidi who is 9 and I have a snow named Amber who is 20. Her birthday was the 4th of June and she gets her favorite treat a zinger. I was curious if there were any others with older Bengals or the oldest ever. She seems to be doing pretty good. Walks a bit slow and doesn't jump as much though. She only weighs 7lbs but she never weighed more than 8.5 lbs. I just joined today, I have a picture to share but not sure how to post it.

Welcome to the forum! It's so lovely to hear from someone with older bengals, i think the majority of people on here have quite young ones....mine for example is 13 & a half weeks

20 is a great age for a cat, lovely to hear she is still going strong! There are two posts at the top of the gallery part of the forum which explain how to put pics up really well

Wow 20. As piggle said, most people have younger cats, so a 20 year old is pretty exciting.

Would love to see photos. You just post them direct to the forum - when you are writing your post, in the toolbar above there is a little icon with a mountain and a sun which allows you to insert images.

Fantastic to hear from someone with a 20 year old, i know quite a few peeps with bengals in their teens, 13 to 16 year olds, a couple of them members here but dont post anymore... i also run a group on facebook called older bengals 10 years plus, and there were quite are a few members with senior bengals, the oldest on there was 19 but he died a while back, but then facebook migrated the group to the new format and a lot of members lost, i must get back on there and add members again ... Amber, a 20 year old Bengal. Some of the spots fall off with age. ha. Plus the fireplace is all hers, just ask her.

And is it just the fireplace that belongs to her? I always thought that everything belongs to cats.
