We are owned by two beautiful 2 1/2 year old Bengal kitties and a 4 yr old Rodeshian Ridgeback. I work in the pet industry and I am also a raw food distributor... so they all eat raw. The kitties have been quite an adventure. The intelligence and athleticism is amazing. They are crate trained, leash trained, sit on command, come when called and love car rides. They have been a lot of fun!!
I ended up here just looking for tips and suggestions I guess or even better magic fairy dust to sprinkle on Kyan so he will stop eliminating on the couch. I have found a lot of the threads interesting, so thanks to all who have shared. It is comforting to know I am not alone. We are doing our best to reslove the issue which I believe is stressed related. We have tried all the standard solutions. He is now confined to one end of the house with supervised visits to the living rooms. It has been successful but I am not sure I am fixing the problem. His issues started a month ago. The vet reccommends medication, in addition to modifications we have made, to help him manage his emotions. I am increasing their excersise, mental stimulation and considering a cat wheel. Once the weather warms we will be walking. Which reminds me, what type of harness or jackets do you like? We are always looking for good toys and cat furniture or anything they can climb on and not destory instantly so feel free to offer suggestions.
I look forward to reading all the future posts... Take Care
