hi i am new on here i have two bengal cats both male one is a blue he is seven months old and just rehomed a two year old poor thing has had three homes and seems really confused he is appox two years old and neutered he is very thin and has not stopped eating since arriving has been a little fear aggresive but6 seems to be slowly getting used to us.

Welcome to the forum! hope you find us to be a helpful bunch! Well done on rehoming one, I imagine he's just pretty scared of the new surroundings and another cat to get used to and is using aggression as a defence mechanism. Good luck!

thanks for your reply yes he is scared although he seems better today and is eating non stop i have not intriduced hm yet to my resident cat and do not intend to untl least another two weeks he needs to feel more secure first plus i need to have him vet checked as he has not been vacinated the conditions he was kept in were not very clean :cry:

Hi, Trish. I'm so glad that you have given this boy a new lease on life. Poor little guy. He has had it hard, but with his new loving and understanding forever home, he will come around.

What are your Bengals' names? I'll have to check to see if you posted pictures. :)

has he been tested for Felv? If he hasn't been vaccinated it is recommended you not introduce him to your resident cats for 12 weeks, or until the time has passed whereby you are 100% sure he's not Felv positive.
