Hi!

I'm new to the forums and have new kittens! Well, ish. Got them on October 21st at 8 weeks old:

so now of course they seem huge in comparison:

My blue-eyed boy is Keema and the terribly behaved rosetted girl is Tikka. And yes, we all love curry.

Hi and Welcome!

Lovely cats, I just love the combo of colours and patterns. (I'm in the process of looking for a snow marble boy to join Ember... :D )

hiya they are lovely, :) just to add though they shouldnt leave mum until 12-14weeks of age, esp bengals this is vital to devlopment (just for anyone reading who is looking for akitten!)

Really Taylor? The breeder we got them from separates her kittens from their mums much earlier than that; when we went to see them a couple weeks before we got them they had already been away from mum for a while.

Thanks for the comments guys!

We got our two at 13-14 weeks. They had been left with mum in an upstairs room when they were young, then they were brought downstairs with mum to get used to being around people and housey smells and noises. Mum would eventually go off and leave them for short periods and the kittens would get used to being away from her and being around people instead. Mum would leave them more and more (but would have access to them if she wanted). Seemed to me to be a good way of doing things. :)

OMG!!!!!!!! Too cute. Need more pics! I always love a good snow/brown and marble/spotted pairing.

And yes 8 weeks is a bit young for many reasons, but it seems like yours haven't suffered any ill-effects from it (phew!) so that is just something to keep in mind if you get any more kittens in the future.

Hi pylea, and thanks! In hindsight I guess I should have come here for advice before buying them, but as you say, they seem to be fine!

I have a blog (link in my sig) with gazillions of photos (and a couple of videos) if you want to see more of them, and they've already had a photoshoot for my work (a children's publishing house) so they'll hopefully be appearing in published books next year too!
