I brought Widget and Pixel home with my housemate on 19th March 2011. However, today is their birthday, so I thought I'd post a few photos to show how they've changed!

Starting with a photo the breeder sent us:

And a couple of photos of when we first visited them and decided to put a deposit down. (I think we'd decided before we got there to be honest, but meeting them just finalised the decision!)

This is Pixel. She had an odd shaped eye when she was younger as you can see here. However as she grew it evened out with the other one and you can't notice a difference these days.

Widget sitting on my housemates knee. He basically sniffed at us and just slept on/next to us the whole time we were there! It was almost a "yep, you'll do" kind of gesture.

Widget today:

Pixel a couple of weeks or so ago:

And now for some comparisons!

Pixel and Widget in their bed when they were much younger:

And Pixel in the same bed today:

Widget in his hammock a few months back:

Notice how it's now sagging from his weight!

It's really nice to see that they are doing so well, especially after their rough start.

Lovely cats - its amazing how much they grow, i dont notice it that much until i look back on the photos and realise how tiny they originally were.

Thanks all. :)

They are very happy (crazy) critters. Lots of fun and wouldn't change them for the world... even when I have to pluck Widget out from inside my curtains (he hides between the lining and the curtain) and have to pick up all the washing after Pixel hurtles full pelt into the clothes horse five minutes after I've finished putting the clothes on it.

It's amazing how much they change as well. Pixel was such a tiny little ball of fluff and now she's such a stocky, solid mass of muscle! And Widget is a lean mean mischief machine! Not that I'd ever complain considering we thought we were going to lose him when he was younger.

Happy birthday! It's lovely to see how they have grown. They change so much in a year, don't they?!
Gorgeous kitties! :)
