I probably should have also introduced CeCe, so here's a bit about her personality (probably nothing new to many other posters here).

She's super friendly (though not really a lap kitty) and loves to be part of the action - so she follows us around the house when we're up and about, and generally stations herself near us when we're lounging unless she's off to sleep somewhere on her own. She constantly rubs up against us and loves purring and being petted - but very much on her terms when she wants it.

She's VOCAL - I've had vocal kitties before, but this one is the most vocal so far - not so much in volume, though she can be quite loud, but in that she has so many different sounds she can make and likes to make them often. She likes it when I talk back to her too.

She LOVES to play, though generally prefers interactive games and toys to solo toys. I suspect that is mostly her manipulating me into playing with her since sometimes in the middle of the night I wake up and hear her solo playing somewhere else in the house - so she prefers it if we amuse her, but if we're not available, she'll obviously amuse herself.

She's fearless - our balcony and sliding glass door face onto a park with a small parking lot, and then a golf course beyond that - and she loves to watch people walking their dogs. She hears the jingling of their collars/tags and comes running to her window to check them out. She will also run to the windows to investigate loud noises (like cars starting, kids riding electric scooters, people taking out their garbage, etc). She's very interested in strangers so long as they don't crowd and overwhelm her when they first come in - last week we had a repairman in and she rubbed up on him, watched him work, and tried to bat anything she could out of his tool bag - luckily, he was a cat person too and had one at home.
