I have been a lurker on this site for a while but didn't have much to post about since I didn't have a Bengal

Now that I have finally picked my Bengal boy out I would love to share him with you. I have been lucky enough to find a fabulous breeder only 1.5 hrs away from me who I have already visited 3 times. She scans her studs for HCM every 6 months and scans her queens every year. She also reports when they are positive and immediately removes them from her breeding program. She has been completely upfront about everything and talked to me about the health risks Bengals are prone to at our first meeting. All her Bengals live in her home with her and her cats are amazingly socialized! All in all I know I found one of the best. And luckily her cats are also gorgeous

My fiance and I picked out our kitty this weekend. The whole litter was beautiful but his coloring and outgoing personality made the decision easy for me. He was the most courageous and outgoing while at the same time being really sweet. He wasn't intimidated in the slightest and was in the middle of everything. He also should end up having glitter. Him and another one of the kittens are already super soft/silky while still firmly in the fuzzy stage. We are still trying to figure out what we want to name him. He will be coming home at the end of the month (weekend of the 29th, can't wait!).

And onto the pictures! (I know thats why you looked at this post )

He is the one playing, love his coloring!

Awesome! He is gorgeous and it sounds like you found a great breeder. Also you are very lucky for having done all the research before picking one out; I know a lot of us on here are kicking ourselves on the our butts for not knowing how serious HCM was when we bought our cats. So good for you. And welcome to the forums. :)

Congratulations on choosing your little boy - he looks gorgeous, great markings for his age.

It's wonderful that your breeder is scanning so regularly and being so open about the results - we need to see many more of that type of breeder.

congratulations on having chosen your wee boy! i bet you're really excited to bring him home and are counting down the days! i remember the 4 weeks we waited for Tigger felt like eternity! and as ginny said, it's great that your breeder is regularly scanning and doing the right thing.

don't worry about photo overload, we're all somewhat guilty of that here, myself included in the beginning, but because i like taking photos in general, i've been too lazy to upload them to be shared
