HI everyone, new bengal slave here lol DH and I recently adopted a baby bengal male, he is 9 weeks.. we adopted him at 8, she said he was ready to go and I thought that was too young but she was ready to let him leave.. ? We are still working on a name for him, but I think we are leaning towards Sengie, which means Lion.. oh and he is a snow spotted seal mink.. I think I have that right.. as soon as I figure out how to post pics I will!

Welcome to the forum. You are correct, 8 weeks is very young to adopt your baby, most don't leave home till 13 weeks with all their jabs etc. To post photos upload them to a site like Photobucket (its free) and then you can post the [img] code. Enjoy your new baby!

8 weeks is about the earliest you will want to adopt. 8-10 is pretty common in the states as 5-6 weeks is typically when they start to wean from the mother. And then 2-4 weeks to socialize and such. A good breeder can usually tell when they are ok to go and won't allow them out sooner.
