You shouldn't feel to bad. Not everything goes to plan.
And you definitely shouldn't feel embarrassed about advertising a cross breed. My Nismo is a cross breed. We have no idea what breed his father is but I wouldn't change him for the world. i personally looked for a nice looking kitten who was energetic and well looked after. The fact that I managed to find a beautiful kitten who's mother is a full bengal which makes him even more gorgeous and have a very outgoing personality was an absolute bonus for me. I wanted two kittens who would become my family, the fact I ended up with a full snow bengal as well was just completely unexpected and not something I was initially looking for.
Next time you will be able to mate her the way you intended, but for now, look after her and any kittens she will have.
